The Buck 246 & 247 Collector’s Set is a nice collector’s set of two Buck knives. In terms of design and material choices, the knives are identical. The only difference is in the size and the pocket clip. The 247, which is the larger of the two, has a pocket clip. Its little brother doesn’t have a pocket clip. Due to its size, the small knife is easy to carry with you, so it doesn’t need one. The opening system works the same for both knives, because you use a thumb hole. When opened, a solid liner lock holds the blade in place.
